About Cyelcor
A family name in fire and security since 1981, now part of PRAESI Technologies.
Cyelcor was founded in Limassol, Cyprus, in 1981 by Kypros Stefanou, B.Sc. (Hons) Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers.
For almost four decades Cyelcor Ltd worked in fire detection, intruder alarms, CCTV, door entry and automated pool water treatment. Its work covered airports, courts, museums, hotels, department stores, apartment blocks and cruise ships, in Cyprus and abroad.
In 2026 the Cyelcor name returns as a brand of PRAESI Technologies Ltd, the Cyprus company founded by the next generation of the Stefanou family. Cyelcor today finds, specifies and supplies protection products from European and US makers. It does not install: customers use their own licensed installers.
